Evidemment c'est toujours les mêmes qui crèvent de chaud dans des logements mal adaptés, et les mêmes autres qui se prélassent dans leurs résidences climatisées et basse consommation payées par le loyer des premiers."Écologie punitive" mon cul, ils en ont rien à foutre que quelqu'an soit puni tant que c'est pas eux, et ils lâcheront pas un centime de leur thune ou de leurs privilèges pour rendre le monde un peu plus vivable pour toustes. C'est toujours la même avec les droitards.Y'en a que la canicule rend anxieuxes ou fait flipper niveau santé pour elleux ou leurs proches, c'est compréhensible et j'en suis un peu, surtout niveau santé mentale. Hi, I'm looking for a way to have some entities be able to download and upload files (potentially large ones and/or in large numbers). What I need is something :Accessible to entities with non-null but limited computer skills (asking them to install and use FileZilla on their Windows machine is reasonable, asking them to setup NFS shares is not.)Allows reasonable access control (users, and different access rights on different directories for different users)Independant from system accountsReasonably secure and well maitainedNot a full fledged cloud storage system with applications and whatnot - I want something simple that focuses on uploading and downloading files.It's for a small scale setup (at most 10-20 accounts I think), I don't need any sort of automated account creation or management. It will run on a Debian Stable machine. In a container or not, I don't care much.The ideas I have or have seen are :Good old FTP over TLS : seems the way to go to me but everyone seems to think it's a bad idea 🤔 CIFS: I've never been a fan of it but it... should work, I guess. I had to setup something similar (though much simpler) in the past and it worked quite straightforwardly.Some sort of WebDAV-based thing: this seems to be what it's for, but I don't know shit about WebDAV.Some sort of SFTP setup which does not rely on system level accounts and sshd: might work with some container based system seems complicated to setupAny advice ?

Okay, This is how you lose the time war starts a bit slowly, and that's probably why I didn't get that much into it when I gave it a try last week, but then it gets really good 💜An epistolary sci-fi time travel lesbian romance. With a character named Blue. How could I not like it? I could if it was badly written, and it's not. It's beautiful and intense.

By the way, I sort of have a thing for time stories. Time travel, but even more: time loops, parallel timelines, multiple choice futures, presents or pasts, stories spanning on decades, centuries or aeons with motifs echoing or repeating throughout time, that kind of stuff.If you have good work to recommend about that (books, TV shows, movies videogames, ...) it's always welcome! (If it's queer and/or sci-fi it's even better but I don't care so much, I mostly care that it's interesting and well written.)

Dumb me forgot their luggage in the Flixbus yesterday.I really hope I'll get it back. It contains some meds, some of my favorite clothes, and one or two (I don't remember) camera lenses.The meds are non critical and easily replaceable. The camera lenses are cheap for camera lenses but still expensive for my finances; it would be a setback for one of my favorite hobbies and creative activity but nothing that can't be replaced over the next few months. (Luckily, the camera itself was in my backpack.) The clothes are almost all from thrift stores, they have no money value but difficult to replace and I would be very sad to lose them.
