       oh lawd the app for my label printer got updated and I think this one might actually be worse than the Plex app update.I needed a compact one so having an app was inevitable, but I bought this model because the app was super simple.the new app version broke print intents, so I can't just open label files in it directly any more, and now making a label requires going through a three page wizard, loading an image, manually sizing it to the label, and printing. and it has upsell popups now too.

       warranty return accepted. that was surprisingly easy.initially they were like "you want to return it because you don't like the new app???" but once I explained that the update broke the only workflow I purchased it for (printing a label file)  and therefore rendered it unfit for purpose, equivalent to if the most important button had physically broken off the printer, they accepted the return.
