       I found out that OpenComputers 1 has been forked and ported... with heavy AI assistance...Maybe I should come back to modding after all. I wonder if I could assemble a team to create a new computer mod. I don't think I have the stamina to go for it alone

       @asie honestly if i were makig an opencomputers style mod, it would be probably based on a fantasy architecture, one that doesn't have the necessities of real hardware

       @asie ive seen one based on riscv, and, like, cool, but i don't think most people would ever look at it, because it's both too real and complexa custom built architecture that is simple enough it can be used for teaching though ?

       @SRAZKVT@tech.lgbt there's a reason pico-8 and tic-80 were the most successful fantasy computers - i think the fact they stuck to scripting, especially Lua, and put the interesting fantasy parts elsewhere is a part of it

       @asie I've only done Bukkit plugins, never mods... I have read CraftOS's and OpenOS's lua code in the past.If you think I'd be of any help, let me know.
