       @sarae always interesting the things you discover about centuries old distant relatives.According to my brother, a distant ancestor of ours was institutionalized in the famous Bedlam insane asylum.

       @azonenberg I initially did a bunch of this geneaological work 20+ years ago because an aunt on my dad's side was such a jerk about being able to join the DARso I dug into my mom's side and she's got a laundry list of Revolutionary Army ancestorswhich was pretty satisfying, to be like, yeah it's not a competition but if it were the people you keep talking down to would be winning
