       I'm not going to consistently warn on political content indeed, I'm not going to pretend I can anticipate any of your needs as far as social media consumptionif that's something you want from a correspondent, you should seek it elsewhere(personally I quite enjoy hearing about political events from around the world from everyday citizens who are experiencing them)and if you start lecturing me about how to conduct my social life, you will cease to be part of my social life

       @azonenberg I initially did a bunch of this geneaological work 20+ years ago because an aunt on my dad's side was such a jerk about being able to join the DARso I dug into my mom's side and she's got a laundry list of Revolutionary Army ancestorswhich was pretty satisfying, to be like, yeah it's not a competition but if it were the people you keep talking down to would be winning

       my kid has bought a used Dell enterprise laptop at university surplus and installed Linux Mint on itwe're currently trying to figure out which battery it takes so we can order a replacement (there are two options, one is 3 cells and one is 4)anyhow fedi levels are like 94% and rising in the household at this time, just thought y'all should know
