       There's a scene in Towering Inferno (AN IRWIN ALLEN PRODUCTION) where they've got a lifeline established to the next building and they're sending across women and children one or two at a time with a seat and a winch. Then once the women and kids are gone the heel of the movie boldly declares he's not waiting in line anymore and bolts for the seat. Several men join him and try to hang on until finally the line snaps and they all plummet to the their death, leaving everyone else stranded. When I think of the current state of the US I think of that scene.

       Yeah slowly then all at once.Much criticism (with a lot justified) about Americans doing f@ck-all while their/our government lurches out of control but we know as well as anyone that there is nothing underneath of us.  It's not like...pretty much everywhere else where if the government was overthrown the next day would be pretty much like the day before: this would be "Soviet-levels" of collapse.  All but the regime's most based critics look over the precipice and wonder if it might be easier to make a deal with the brown mob that's descending upon them than to gamble on such a huge unknown (even though the "huge unknown" will be upon them no matter what).

       "Putin Redux" is always the best case scenario though I'm not sure how much of that is applicable to GAE.  A lot would depend, I think, on how much the foreign powers will want to keep the empire alive (though their influence may not be all that persuasive).

       I feel the same way about American Hitler (even though I feel the need for one). America won't have a Putin or a Hitler, or even a Pinochet. We will have something uniquely ours, something right for our people as those men are/were right for theirs.

       A guy that will cut off a piece and make a new country only for whites (probably facing the pacific and incorporating east Canada) Small at first bigger later although never as big as the peak of white America. And that's it. The rest of the country will fragment into various shades of leftie and brown.
