       @LolikingSama Lalafell are a real cute design, wish they were in genuinely anything other than an MMO. I'm too much of a CaC nut but I hate CaC games being exclusively stuff like MMOs. Give me more psudo-MMOs/silly stuff like DBXV.

       @LolikingSama Create a character. My brain has been melted by Dragon Ball Xenoverse terminology. Point being, it's so rare to actually be able to do more than put an outfit on a character outside of an MMO. I guess there's open world hyper realism games but those have their own problems.

       @Iffine @LolikingSama I kinda hate CaCs in Xenoverse and that one Naruto/Boruto strikers game. Feel like there isn't much point to playing the licensed characters outside of them having ultra unique stuff

       @supersid333 @LolikingSama Fair though I think it's an inherent problem with the game design over anything else. Xenoverse was designed with CaCs in mind and unless you're getting into PvP (ha) the normal characters don't really have the same level of freedom since they're trying to be fighting game characters. The weird hybrid RPG/fighting game does no favors. Still it's why I like the game myself, sure as a game Kakarot is infinitely more polished and way better crafted to utilize the characters and a game like FighterZ actually makes people feel unique, but sometimes I just want to make the super cute deadly majin (who is probably at most 4 feet tall judging by the Goku measurement system that is mandated by the time patrol). Without the Dragon Ball aspect I think something like Xenoverse as a whole would've needed to be reworked from the ground up, even if in gameplay the characters are less utilized.

       @LolikingSama Funnily enough I actually bounced off Code Vein, felt kinda restrictive in character design then on top of that just didn't have the right kinda combat flow for me. Maybe I could revisit it at some point. I had a far greater opinion of SAO Fatal Bullet of all things, but that game has it's own oddities I need to come to terms with.

       @Iffine @LolikingSama I think Xenoverse has the best execution of the idea. I just want to see Dragon Ball characters when I play a Dragon Ball game. I can only see so many Edgy Donut Steel Saiyans before I start tweaking a little (I can't blame them for being saiyan though, that race gets all the love.)

Saiyans have so many problems design wise too. It took until the Super Hero movie stuff to get an all around transformation that even came close to SSBE, and even then Beast's downside is far more damning for increasing damage taken while the other reduces damage taken (and beast's damage boost is still 5% less than SSBE).  Xenoverse portrays most time patrollers as dorks, and it's got a lot of that more silly Dragon Ball energy I love. :flan_tired: Wish more people would take part in that. Make a silly majin or two, throw out an earthling using potential unleashed, who knows maybe even make the world's beefiest Namekian for fun.
