       It's the real Star Wars day. 49 years ago today Star Wars was released in 32 theaters (!). Even those 32 had to be cajoled into showing it at all by threatening to withhold a John Travolta film based on a bestselling novel if they wouldn't take this likely bomb.Travolta's film bombed, Star Wars didn't.
