       @Dan_Ramos AI is going the route of the personal computer. The first PCs were hobby machines sold to small companies that couldn't justify their own minicomputer. The big corps didn't want or need them because they had big iron that ran rings around a Z80, and the workflow was built around adding machines and typewriters. When the small companies grew they kept the PCs. A lot of big companies have PCs on desks, running 3270 screen scraper apps. Or just 3270 emulators.
