       @Dan_Ramos meanwhile all over the globe there are machines that sit idle 16 hours a day.  But because the ISPs say no servers on residential connections they just take up space.

       @Dan_Ramos AI is going the route of the personal computer. The first PCs were hobby machines sold to small companies that couldn't justify their own minicomputer. The big corps didn't want or need them because they had big iron that ran rings around a Z80, and the workflow was built around adding machines and typewriters. When the small companies grew they kept the PCs. A lot of big companies have PCs on desks, running 3270 screen scraper apps. Or just 3270 emulators.

       @Dan_Ramos and I wrote a Field Day scoreboard app for my ham radio club in about an hour (still debugging). AI isn’t about big corporations replacing their employees, it’s about people who want a simple task done without spending years learning how to code. Basic or HyperCard for the 21st century. Is it a game changer? Yes but not in the way investors want. Eventually they will force AI companies to adapt their systems to what big corps want and it will just be another programming language
