       the more I learn about peter thiel the more I think the universe is pranking me. if an author wrote him as a character their editor would say they're being too on the nose and need to tone it down

       @0x4d6165@transfem.social sometimes it's more useful to view the fictional stories we tell ourselves, as truths from the real world that we have not been able to convince ourselves to accept and act upon en masse, and which our psyches have guided us to outlet somewhere, in the hopes that maybe we will realize that it is truth, and do what must be done

       @0x4d6165@transfem.social when you see a guy like peter thiel, and you feel that he is too on the nose, you are hearing the voices of uncountable storytellers over thousands of generations, saying to you through their metaphors, "this is the guy i warned you about. he is real, and he is dangerous. do not give him what he wants."

       Honestly, I think the moment I noticed that all these guys are indistinguishable form cartoon villains my radicalization became irreversible. Absolutely ridiculous, and yet this is the world we live in. :blobfoxdisapprove:
