       :saddest: DAMN :saddest: I have to withdraw my recommendation for the Third edition of Kevin MacDonald's The Culture of Critique.  He's become a liar in his old age, it would appear (he's old old, 82, born in 1944).Specifically, on page 216 of the paperback in the new neocon chapter, he talks about what sounds like excessive neocon arranged National Endowment for Democracy (civilian CIA) funding for a unit of the AFL-CIO labor union under Reagan (president starting in 1981).Besides various Jews, he names the usual suspects like Senator "Scoop" Jackson and Lane Kirkland (head of the union in that period) ... but not the Solidarity union in Poland founded in August 1980.Which was a major attack surface for ending the Evil Empire, see also Pope John Paul II, real name Karol Józef Wojtyła.  AKA there's reasons the GRU and/or KGB through a couple of cut-outs came very close to assassinating John Paul nine months later and the "Popemobile" is today a thing.I don't except a full run down of all this, but MacDonald is a hell of a lot older than me and I can't see how he would have missed the Solidarity connection.I mean a basic understanding of the Protracted Conflict including the Cold War by an intellectual who lived through the latter is table stakes for understanding the influence of Jews on American in the 20th Century, what the book is all about.And this wasn't small or hidden, a significant part was in the open for years, because the Soviet Union and it's satellite states were Officially worker's paradises, and a "soviet" is a worker's council.That is, especially given the union's prominence, the Soviet leadership was not in a good position to crush the union as Stalin for example would have, or perhaps Brezhnev if he'd been healthy.  And major things happened, like martial law being declared in December 1981!I suppose I can't blame Antelope Hill too much, I'm assuming the editors assigned to this book were young whippersnappers, or at least too young to remember the 1980s  from living through it while old enough to pay attention.
