       A few weeks ago I opened a fundraiser to replace my old Mac. My latest builds confirmed how unworkable it has become: I spent my time freeing disk space and waiting for builds to finish one after the other.        About the choice: a MacBook Pro M5 Pro, 24GB RAM, 1TB SSD. Enough power to run iOS and Android emulators side by side, along with the Docker containers needed for the projects  infrastructure (Holos relay, HolosDiscover, F-Droid builds, Fedle).Bought locally, from a well-known retailer. Same price as Apple, with a physical store nearby, local support and proper warranty.(2/2)
