there are too many programming languages how am I supposed to form an opinion on all of them and make the objectively correct choice of which to use in every situation aaaaaa (I know you aren't supposed to/can't do this but my brain insists upon it)

@stellarskylark i know you aren't supposed to/can't rely on benchmarks as anything more than a game that insufficiently describes the strengths of a language but my brain insists upon looking at https://www.techempower.com/benchmarks/ and https://benchmarksgame-team.pages.debian.net/benchmarksgame/index.html
