       So it turns out you can just hand a photograph of something to an AI like Tripo, and it will just spit out a viable 3D recreation 👀 Found this great little watchtower outpost thing on Pinterest, generated a mesh from it, and spent the evening learning how to use Blender enough to slice it up and make it printable, as an experiment. Only have access to the free mode, so the mesh is a bit blobby, but I'm very interested to see if it prints. Another alarming and problematic superpower of the AI era

       Used ChatGPT (images 2.0) to create an orky-looking missile silo. Passed it to Tripo3D to generate a mesh. Converted it to an STL with Blender. And now have it sliced up in Bambu Studio as a 9 hour print. Seamless AI to physical object flow? We'll find out tomorrow, as my current print is gonna take 24 hours 🤡

       Follow-up: these physical 3D-printed models were completely generated by AI, and came out almost flawlessly on the Bambu A1. I added a launcher console for funsies (source image generated in ChatGPT), though I could have scaled it down a tad#warhammer
