       What a Charade! It looked great until they showed a close-up of the rust. Daihatsu cars were very briefly sold here in the U.S. in the late '80s and early '90s, I believe only in limited regions like the Northeast and California. The name Charade certainly didn't help, nor did getting sued by the "Rocky" movie franchise because their mini-SUV was named the Rocky. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jahoXcWHlY

       @vwestlife The 3-cylinder Charade was very popular in Ireland during the 1980s, when fuel shortages and high prices were a big factor. The Charade had better MPG than any other car at the time.
