       @1div0 I'm currently using GIMP XCF as my primary working format and exporting as PNG for full res lossless.If I'm using a lossy format for display I normally downsample and then save as regular JPEG.This particular 363 mpix image I'm working with fits in a JPEG at full res (20k ish pixels square) and would probably be OK as a conpressed TIFF, but would be about 8GB as uncompressed RGB24. ( It's fine in uncompressed tiff as grayscale, but not with color annotations)
