       Somehow, my new grad school login credentials are an unholy trinity of microsoft, canvas, and gmail. As a result, if I log in with them anywhere, it means any other outlook login gets fucked in the browser as it tries to log into outlook with gmail credentials. And because I also have canvas login credentials for a community college, it often fights between those two as well.Why oh why would someone do this? I am convinced that the IT systems of California State University were conceived of and are administered by Satan himself.

       While I'm complaining about tech, what the hell has gone wrong with Libre Office?Somehow, in the last two months, it started erasing tabs at the beginning of paragraphs, which I had to go into styles to fix, and now it has decided if I hit tab that I want to tab over 5.63 inches? The fuck is this?Also, I tried to reset the amount tab is supposed to do. And I tried to tab twice...and it then reset the tab style to 5.63 inches.I DON'T WANT TO USE MICROSOFT WORD OR GOOGLE DOCS WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!?!

       Anyone know a safe, open source way to do basic word processing documents that doesn't hoover up my writing into an LLM these days? And that doesn't spontaneously decide that I'm not allowed to write in the basic ways I've been writing for three decades???Fuck, do I have to go back to pen and paper to just do basic writing anymore?

       There is Abiword which can read doc and docx files and does not try to be a kitchen sink like Libreoffice.Personally I have ditched Libreoffice recently due to how buggy it has become, and moved to plain text written in Emacs. Then I wrote a small program to convert txt to pdf for when stuff needs to get printed.(I used to paste into Libreoffice and convert to pdf but that has over the past 3 or 4 months become to shitful and mangles text to much to be viable).
