@CordiallyChloe @faithisleaping Iāve been astounded by people call themselves allies donāt realize how bad itās gotten in the last year even. One of my neighbors first said hi to us because she liked my āprotect trans kidsā sign, and supports us and trans rights. But when we chat while our dogs play together, sheās always surprised when I tell her about the big anti-trans laws being passed and things like that.Itās so frustrating, mainstream media will front page people constantly talking about how dangerous and horrible and bad we are, but will barely report what is being done to us. So unless people are actively putting in time to follow news on a minority they may have little direct connection with, they donāt hear about it. Similar to how few white folks kept up with the specifics of anti-immigrant laws, policies, and actions until it was visible in their neighborhoods.

Soā¦itās weird that the Trump admin has failed to use the Artemis II mission for publicity and goodwill, isnāt it? Like, space stuff is a slam dunk and he could even have tried to take credit because of his role in redirecting the mission to the moon during his first term.Instead, the launch day was spent threatening Iran and showing up at the Supreme Court to try to grimace the justices into overturning the 14th amendment. Then the day they set a record for the furthest humans have ever gone from Earth, heās out here busy talking about doing explicit war crimes that even some really shitty and authoritarian regimes donāt do.Itās justā¦itās weird, isnāt it? Like, this is such an easy set of headlines to use to distract people. Nixon did that kind of thing even and he had a notoriously bad relationship with the media. And this conspiracy of chucklefucks in charge of the US and managing the president just kind of seem disinterested or like they donāt even know itās happening.Iām not saying I want them to do that, itās just weird and suggests that for people who used to have dangerously clever media instincts have gone beyond what they can handle. Hereās hoping this bodes well and they continue to flail and fall apart.

It's kind of bonkers that estrogen HRT for transfems is still basically an "off-label" use for the medication.I was given an assignment to write a poem based upon a common documentation format, so chose to go with medication instructions and warnings paperwork. Reading the documentation for my estradiol, it's kind of hilarious to see that the uses are still just: menopause and ovarian failure for cis women or to treat prostate cancer in cis men. Trans women and transfeminine people are still not being considered one of the primary patient groups being treated by the medication in 2026.

Somehow, my new grad school login credentials are an unholy trinity of microsoft, canvas, and gmail. As a result, if I log in with them anywhere, it means any other outlook login gets fucked in the browser as it tries to log into outlook with gmail credentials. And because I also have canvas login credentials for a community college, it often fights between those two as well.Why oh why would someone do this? I am convinced that the IT systems of California State University were conceived of and are administered by Satan himself.

In case anyone is curious, as a lesbian who has been with many vulva-havers of both birth and surgical origin, I can definitively say: neovaginas and natal vaginas in estrogen dominant people taste basically the same, smell the same, and have the same mouthfeel.Neovaginas also are aesthetically within the normal diversity of vulvas in appearance after about a year or so of recovery, to the point most people would not be able to distinguish, even those with neovaginas themselves. The only thing that sometimes stands out is that some will not self lubricate.Now, when it comes to testosterone dominant people with vulvas, these do tend to taste different, can have a different mouthfeel.
