       @MLE_online Powerlines in anime x hentai? I could see it.I'm curious though... do these buses normally run from overhead power lines when in operation trolley style? Otherwise why would they not use a normal side-mounted "gas pump" EV charger?

       @MrDOS @azonenberg There's a huge structure further back in the lot that doesn't have individual posts between buses. It's all overhead and supported by pillars out at the edges. Just a grid of charging pantographs that come down from above

       @MLE_online @MrDOS @azonenberg at one point I worked for my city's subway system and if I recall the pantograph side presented challenges. Like there's just more moving parts to a pantograph than a wall charger. Unless the system and the busses already have them and it's a matter of a less expensive retrofit.

       @azonenberg @MLE_online If this is the system I'm thinking it's so they can do 3-10min fast-charges at a few stops along the route. No driver or staff having to be outside the bus, no high power connector at ground level to get messed with.
