       the concretions in the area we hiked today give the uncanny impression of being rusting machinery alt: weird angular chunks of iron-bearing concretion just sort of sitting around in the desert

       there are about a million bighorn sheep petroglyphs and this is the only one I know of that is depicted upside down alt: two sheep petroglyphs on a pale sandstone wall, one upside down. a faded pictograph is also visible
