       I was talking to someone a while back who was, by all metrics of business, a successful entrepreneur, and I was telling them (because they ASKED) that I was hoping to get trace root to demo status and then hopefully secure enough funding to hire a couple of people to help finish it, with the end game of running a small studio as a co-op.their immediate reaction was, literally, "the people you hire will inevitably disappoint you- just do a bunch of adderal and make it with AI" and like,I haven't had a conversation with someone who was more openly diametrically opposed to everything I care about.

       The conversation stayed (I think?) pretty civil but I basically had to end it on "there is no way we will ever see eye to eye about this, and you can accept that or not but it's an immutable truth".
