       My carpenter ants moved their graveyard to a new location. It took them only a day and I didn't catch them in the act. I was, at first alarmed by the pile of dead ants, then I realized that they have decided they like using the back of the extra log slice as a clubhouse for older majors. They cleared away the trash pile near the door to the next chamber over. I decided to give them some nice feeders having noticed this. Then realized I'm probably accidentally starting a kind of ant religion.

       @diz Having a colony is so much fun. They always have a project. Hopefully it isn't secretly chewing a hole in the discount plastic tubing you thought would be "good enough"(Although ant escapes aren't as bad as it sounds. They never move the queen and really just want to wander around your house... if you simply lock them out so they can't get home they freak out can't wait to be let back in.)
