How have so many people been trained to think like they are private equity managers who just want to cut every job, anything that makes middle class people exist?And this comment had a bunch of likes ... none of the people getting mad about this really are private equity managers. They won't get rich. But the sight of people with "cushy" (livable, decent) jobs just makes them mad?It's so depressing.

A company or a person can sue Google for misinformation in their AI overview. But when the AI overview says that Lasius myops is a social parasite when this ant is clearly being confused with Lasius interjectus who can sue on her behalf?If it says that Lasius brunneus is "invasive" and so someone wipes out their colonies (even though they are a helpful native species) who can bring a case of defamation for the ants?Lies cause harm, but there is only a way to protect capital from this harm.

When you kill everything it's the most robust and "pesty" or "weedy" plants and creatures that come back first. When this doesn't work I think they will return with more poison. Until the ducks are floating motionless and only anaerobic bacteria decompose their bodies. Then we can get that really fun bright red algae!

"Trump could have gotten a better deal than this."IDK. I don't really buy this idea that the individuals who are hashing out the deal matter all that much. What matters is the intractable needs of each country. The things that cannot be moved. Trump *could* have NOT started a damn war. But as far as ending it and before the economy craters ... this seems reasonable. Just walk away and try to forget. "better deal" talk reminds me of everyone who hated the JCPOA.

Do most Americans really worry about Iran? This thing where they are supposed to be scary just... I don't buy it. Especially after they conducted this war with so much restraint. I think they just want to ship oil and have enough of a military that the US can't show up and take everything. Meh.

@IngaLovinde The graffiti you see in NYC today is curated. I don't think anyone enjoys random marker scribbles on the train window blocking their view OR having a building you like the way it is get some big tag on it. Although this doesn't really happen much now we do remove a tag from the back of the building every three years.Understanding exactly how and where your average NYC resident likes graffiti is important.
