       So, I recently got a few new chart tools and slide rules. One is a Radio Calculator, and the rest are Flight Calculators (An American Airlines model, and a bunch of jeppesen chart and plotting tools). But now I feel like I need to learn to really use them all...Anyone want to get together and learn to use analog computers? We could have a whole series, going from abacuses and slide rules to telemeters and adding machines?

       The radio calculator is pretty cool. It can calculate impedance and power loss, and deals with frequencies (labeled in Mc, rather than Hz) and wavelengths (including listing frequencies in common Band terminology, ie, 10M band). It's a circular slide rule with two orders of magnitude represented concentrically on a logarithmic scale.
