       @dangillmor over the years, I've asked many self-identified conservatives what "conservative" means anymore.  I've never gotten a straight answer.

       @dangillmor when the word was coined, it only meant "thoses who want to go back to monarchy".I guess "power to the few" is like the essence of conservatives

       @dangillmor In this day & age the talk media (whatever format) have so co-opted the terms ‘Liberal’ & ‘ Conservative’ that common usage makes them no more than curse words. I personally refuse to use them.
