       Sigh. Put my laptop to sleep, realizing 1 second later that I hadn't saved the last 2 hours of work in my text document. Linux Mint has like a 1% chance of not waking up after sleep and of course it does it this time. Document gone. Documents gone, as I had tabs open. Wouldn't happen in Mac Textedit that autosaves. Should I attempt to reconstruct, or just abandon the project altogether?

       @aetios No, I'm so used to Textedit saving a temp copy that I rarely do it out of habit. I don't see anything in a .cache dir.Libreoffice autosaves, but I only have 4GB and prefer lightweight editors for writing.
