       ah… uh, does Valencia fluoridate the water? i should probably start remembering to brush my teeth again because i keep forgetting that im not in Taiwan anymore where fluoridation is mandatory

       @twinkle I think people are supposed to brush their teeth (preferably with fluoridated toothpaste, even better if it also has hydroxyapatite) regardless of whether their water is fluoridated or not?Fluoridated water is good and somewhat reduces / delays the teeth problems, but it's by no means a replacement for teeth brushing, although this might be not that obvious in young age.

       @twinkle also how sure you are that Taiwan fluoridates water? Wikipedia says that it doesn't, and from what I understand, Taipei https://english.water.gov.taipei/cp.aspx?n=ED0C1E259A61491D considers fluoride a contaminant and says a quite low upper limit for fluoride content in tap water (way lower than fluoridated water would have)
