       On the rails again… #Interrail This is actually the second train of the day, after I headed down to Köln Hbf to have lunch with a friend.I’m grabbing an earlier train than I originally planned to get down to Saarbrücken this evening, via Mannheim.I’m starting off on a nice and swift :ice_4: ICE 4.Normally I prefer to take the slightly slower train via the Rhine Valley railway, but I decided that the faster train would be a better idea today, so I could get to my destination quicker.

       And for the first time I’ve been asked whether Wendy the DBJUNGLESKOG has a ticket. When I said no, I had to explain that they are under 2 years old, and so they don’t need one.To which the response was… “well, if she is under 2, then she is a child and gets a child ticket…”

       And I am aboard my last train of the day, an :ice_3: ICE 3M to Paris, that I will be taking as far as Saarbrücken. …or I would if it would actually leave Mannheim.I just heard a pantograph redeploy, so something is not well…
