       The problems Peter Thiel wants to solve with reframing require real shifts in power to resolve. Women must have less power, they must be denied the ability to destroy marriages. They must be punished for anti-natalist conduct and they must be coerced to fulfill their end of the marital bargain.Barring a 180 on feminism all nations that give women rights will fade away.

       @judgedread As soon as you move beyond the WEIRD Current Year bubble, it becomes obvious that women being granted political rights and joining the workforce is not the end point of history, but a radical social experiment that has failed catastrophically.

       I think we're actually making surprising progress on this. If you look how entirely the abortion argument has faded, the question is: how did it do that?And I think the answer is that it was massive propaganda, that was just not able to keep up the facade after it was returned to the states.I think the idea that marriage isn't something you can just quit because you are having a bad day would make it *real* and people are searching for something real

       We have records of what happens to societies when women are granted those things and the result is always the same. It's not a bold experiment when it has been tried and failed consistently. Just like jumping off a cliff is not a bold experiment, what will happen is understood.
