       @Incal Funny, still if contrails were real on the scales alleged, we'd have to sell our nuclear weapons program to afford them.  Yes cloud seeding exists but not at scale.

       @Incal Yea, there is a real physical phenomena that happens with jet aircraft, when you burn a hydrocarbon you get two primary components, CO2 and H2O, or water, initially in vapor form.  If humidity is high then that vapor immediately condenses into water droplets and the result is a contrail.  As someone who has lived not far from Seatac, I've been seeing this since I was a child, I am 67 now.  Anybody familiar with the Seattle area would know cloud seeding is not something we have a need of, we have an average rainfall of 37-38 inches, that is enough naturally.  Further, if you are going to cloud seed, you're not going to waste material with random paths like the image you show.  Lastly, to do it on a scale you suggest we'd need thousands of aircraft and billions of tonnes of material, there simply is no infrastructure on that scale.  But some people want to believe in ghosts, some people want to fear being anally raped by aliens, if that's really what you need in your life, well then more power to you but no reason to inflict your irrationality on others.
