       So…it’s weird that the Trump admin has failed to use the Artemis II mission for publicity and goodwill, isn’t it? Like, space stuff is a slam dunk and he could even have tried to take credit because of his role in redirecting the mission to the moon during his first term.Instead, the launch day was spent threatening Iran and showing up at the Supreme Court to try to grimace the justices into overturning the 14th amendment. Then the day they set a record for the furthest humans have ever gone from Earth, he’s out here busy talking about doing explicit war crimes that even some really shitty and authoritarian regimes don’t do.It’s just…it’s weird, isn’t it? Like, this is such an easy set of headlines to use to distract people. Nixon did that kind of thing even and he had a notoriously bad relationship with the media. And this conspiracy of chucklefucks in charge of the US and managing the president just kind of seem disinterested or like they don’t even know it’s happening.I’m not saying I want them to do that, it’s just weird and suggests that for people who used to have dangerously clever media instincts have gone beyond what they can handle. Here’s hoping this bodes well and they continue to flail and fall apart.

       @JoscelynTransient@chaosfem.tw inside knowledge of how high a chance the ship won't make it back (there should not be humans on the second ever flight). perhaps they will wait till all back on earth then make a big show about it and grandstand.
