       due to rising unavailablity of computer parts i decided better get a new computer now. also about time i get a 4k screen to better protect my eyesight. so gonna make something that's like halfway between a laptop and desktop. a ply board with keyboard/trackpad/topton ryzen 7 mini computer ziptied on, a stand attached to the back with adjustable mount and 17.3" screen. so can use on the couch or plonked on a wheelable kitchen stand for standing desk. although ali express is a bit painful to use its nothing like the rage-inducing ordeal of trying to shop online with australian computer retailers lol.

       TIL there used to be a landmark in Chinatown marked on google maps, "Friendly Orange Cat" with an average review of 4.9 stars. Sadly taken down by google as it does not comply with some policy 😞 I think I will visit this cat one day.

       watching a video comparing public transport in london and berlin and the narrtor is complaining that berlin's trains are dirty and the stations constantly smell of piss. berliners is this true? i was in berlin in 2001 and cannot remember any such problem.

       i have a light strip plugged into the usb port on my tv. sometimes when i turn off the tv the lights go out and sometimes they stay on. android shutdown bug or tv still recording the room prodrome?
