       "The machines are fine..." essay is good, until it turns sour it's spot on:- that the grueling "grunt work" is exactly what learning is- that using coding chatbots doesn't build understanding nor intuition- that the most important result of academia are the people who have built intuition and understanding & who can support and guide othershowever, the author deludes themselves that using LLMs doesn't erode intuition. it does. it deprofessionalizes everyone.https://ergosphere.blog/posts/the-machines-are-fine/
