       my april fools revelation is that, if you put Deleuze's "no one has ever died from contradictions" next to Žižek's theory of the undead, you get the backbone of why it's so difficult to articulate a vision of "ok, so, what do we do now?" that can't be immediately denounced (oh, the enjoyment of eating your own!) and assimilated (rendered toothless)

       i ordered some electronic equipment from telecomshop [dot] nl and received an e-mail signed by something named an "AI Agent"in this e-mail, my purchase is being analyzed and questionedi'm asked to confirm that i "really want" the objects i already bought and paid for, because they "don't seem to go well together".words cannot describe how furious i am at having an algorithm delay a delivery and analyze my purchase data...and we want to water down (pardon, "simplify") the GDPR for this?!

       a lovely podcast host from Romania told me today: "you're the only security expert i ever talked to who talks so much about the importance of social cohesion and not about technology"(we were talking about what we can do to protect children, instead of wasting time, resources and political will of the charade of age verification)(and i answered that we need to rebuild social cohesion and community in the physical reality)

       this person, who, according to his website, was one of the people who popularized RSS, blogging and podcasting, blocked me today (i think he blocked me?) because i mentioned that the software he claims can help with "design research" can't help with that "research" and has also been used by the US military to bomb a school, with no trace of auditability for that decision and nobody being made responsible for the horrific act
