       alright i think i have a process for welding these larger parts. basically i have to crank the rosebud up to absurdly high heat and lots of oxygen and put it right on the weld area, then get the tig torch on there immediately.  if i do that, it flows without much additional heat input

       @Guiles it's a fat torch with like 8-10 little nozzles that can flow a lot of gas

       got at least one more part to tack weld tonight.  kind of a waste to use all this heat just for tacking parts but no choice really
