       @benroyce Therein lies the explanation of why people who don't like cats, often attract cats. The human body language (recoiling, narrowing of eyes, etc.) signalling we don't like something, is misunderstood by the feline to mean almost the opposite. 😆

       @ApostateEnglishman @benroyce I think our local cat was more cunning than that.It knew my father didn't like it, and kept away from him.Except when we kids were around - then it would jump onto his lap, knowing that he couldn't do anything nasty to it whilst we kids were watching.
