       If you're on Linux and want a really cool way to resemble CLIs on older machines, this little program lets you do just that. It's a separate terminal emulator launched via your existing terminal emulator and lets you change color schemes to mimic retro computers (C64, PET, IBM PCs, Apple ][, etc).Pretty fun program!        @tyler Partially, they're getting tougher and tougher to find for affordable rates these days. With something like this, you get the advantage of modern display tech and Linux, but you can emulate the glow of a CRT terminal. Best of both worlds!

       I got a chance to visit the Living Computer Museum while it was still open and they had a bunch of authentic terminals ranging from teletypes to the crt ones hooked up to real hardware. I got to even use a period correct c compiler for the pdp11. It was neat.
