       #gitlab did this rather questionable move if ditching the term "issues" in their UI, also losing the "closed" buttons that allows our users to, you know, look for an existing (closed) issue before filing one? they are now "work items", and, frankly, they suck. i went into details of why and how to revert this for now in https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/work_items/590689#note_3175428478

       @Anarcata bit of a tangent: if they're renaming issues to work items, are they also creating a separate category for tracking defects?
