       I just learned a new nightmare that will also prevent me ever moving back to America.In Victoria, a used mattress has to be clearly labeled as such by law at sale.In many American states, mattress stores can simply reupholster a used mattress and sell it as brand new.I may never sleep again.

       @hacks4pancakes I think this is why, here, mattress tags have big warnings printed on them saying it's illegal to remove the tag unless you're the consumerbecause then if you're buying a mattress and it doesn't have the tag, you know it's not new(not a perfect solution by any means, but)
