       @keepandroidopen @gnome It's an absolute shame that this is what the internet has come to—closed. Everything. Even in open source, but in the for-profit world it's always a concern that anything open in a place that answers to stockholders will inevitably want to enclose it to control its product.

       @archivescribe @keepandroidopen @gnome They do it already with websites. A file they don't like? Your website gets flagged as "malicious" on all browsers using Google Safebrowsing. Why is the file malicious? Because they say so. What do other scanners say? It's clean. What does their own scanner say? It's clean. Huh?!? https://gitlab.com/-/snippets/4909577#google-safebrowsingFunnily, for us it's _always_ an APK file. The same that's on Github, but does never get flagged there.
