       While I'm being spicy, it's all well and good to be anti-car, but not everyone has that luxury. My mom bought my house because she wanted a place where we could live within a mile of our own home. We had a grocery, restaurants, shopping for anything we needed, and school from 7th grade onward all in walking distance. We walked a lot. We biked where we couldn't walk.But everything medical is across town and the bus system here is an underfunded mess with shit hours. She drove to work.
