@alcinnz funny you say that, i've just exactly now configured it and set it as the default to try it out. have been seeing the worse results from duckduckgo and also vaguely recall that they were into some shenanigans a while ago

@hyde @adamsdesk Y'all got duped. Voting with your wallet doesn't change anything. It's an illusion, it diverts responsibility to consumers, those over there that don't buy smartly and consciously. As long as growing profits is the organizing principle of economy, it will make profits to the detriment of everything else. This should be obvious by now, when facing the effects of climate crisis covered up for profit.

@selea no, it's not. #opensuse is a company just like #redhat so they'll maneuver to enclose the #commons as soon as it suits their aims. which is profit. so no. the distro of choice is one that has a strong community, a commitment to users and is run by people through a democratic process. like #debian

If the need is official auditable discussions then that's another ball game.
