@alejandrobdn I may not be sensitive enough because I didn't notice it yet. Also, most of the time I use tools that will grab the video and read it with my video player.

@hyde Working for me. Maybe worth cleaning everything, uninstalling, and reinstalling.

@hyde @cjerrington @thelinuxfraud Does it happen if you disable all your plugins?

@hyde You may need to escape slashes if they are used in any keybindings.

If you're looking for a cross platform (Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, iOS), free, and open-source app that allows you to securely share files and text with nearby devices over your local network without needing an internet connection or third-party servers then you may want to take a look at LocalSendhttps://github.com/FossifyOrg

@matthew @ghast I've been in the same situation and used the mkdnflow neovim plugin for a while. Just recently I've moved to the obsidian plugin to test a more Zettle-minded approach. And don't be fool by the name, this plugin is absolutely not relying on or using obsidian.https://github.com/epwalsh/obsidian.nvim

@alejandrobdn I'm sure you have read everything we can find online so I won't reiterate. There's no magical recipes though. Different cats react differently to change, but kittens are usually more adjustable. You already have a cat so you know how they act when they feel right. Just keep an eye of both cats and it'll be fine. I had cats and dogs living together and never followed the "usual" introduction approach (also had cats/rats and cats/goose combo). When I bring a new family member I just make sure everyone is comfortable. You're the lead of your group, so as long as you make the limits clear to them it should work.

@alejandrobdn Let's also mention [ytfzf](https://github.com/pystardust/ytfzf) and [magictape](https://gitlab.com/christosangel/magic-tape) which deserve more visibility than ever with the alternative platforms struggling more and more with YT restrictions.

@tio Sorry to hear about one more victim of programmed obsolescence with no fixing solution. That's one of the reasons why I've decided to support the Framework company by buying one of their laptops. Good luck and enjoy your Thinkpad.

@tio You may get a discount when they release a new model. I understand that it'll still be more expensive because they are new. It's unfortunately difficult to find them in used condition, though they have few ones on their website sometimes. But again, nothing comparable to an old Thinkpad. Anyway my intention is not to force anyone to buy from them. I just think it's a good option when you can afford it. Enjoy your machine and long life to it ! :)

@matthew @frameworkcomputer @gabriel I have a Framework 13 for 3 months now and I love it. I had a Dell XPS 13 before that, and tested lots of mainstream brands over the years (Lenovo, Acer, Vaio... and dinosaurs like PB, Toshiba). All within a budget of ~$1200-$1500. They all did a decent job and the XPS13 was certainly the best, but they all end up going to the trash because of hardware failure after 4 years max. I wanted to move to a company that cares about Linux and with Framework, hardware issues will not cause death of my machine anymore. I'll be able to have my machine longer, or upgrade it for a fraction of the price of a new laptop. https://www-gem.codeberg.page/sys_Framework13-1/https://www-gem.codeberg.page/sys_Framework13-2/

@matthew @frameworkcomputer @gabriel Also, along my research before opting for Framework, I've heard mostly about starlab, purism, tuxedo, and system76. There's obviously pros and cons for each brand as well as difference in opinions based on individual experience, but a common criticism for these (including Framework) less marketed brands is the price of their machines. Lots of people don't realize that there's reasons for a slightly high price.

I moved from fdroid to #obtainium recently, and I really like it. I like the feeling of being in control of the app version I want to use and to download them directly from the dev source. https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium

I receive some kind and supportive messages here and by email about my little #blog. So no, this isn’t a disguised ad, I just want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to write to me. It truly means a lot, especially since the blog isn’t regularly updated, focuses mostly on personal experiences, and isn’t exactly heavily promoted by its author ;)

I’ve been tinkering with a small personal project using Lua, and it’s been ages since I felt that totally fake but totally amazing ‘I just learned something new’ superpower vibe :)

I need a new project to mess with. After my Neovim–Taskwarrior script, I’m thinking of building another Lua tool. I just have to figure out what I’m missing, because the community already has a plugin for basically everything ^^

@feoh Rofi is a killer. I use it for so many things: app, launcher, bookmark and password manager, clipboard manager, you name it. https://www-gem.codeberg.page/sys_rofi/
