@stux In Poland it kinda depends. Normals guns? You have to get a license. The whole process takes around half a year (at least I heard so several years ago), however it's stupidly expensive. And there is also "broń czarnoprochowa" (i have no idea what the translation is), i.e. replicas of guns from 19th century and earlier. To everyone's surpise, since several years there is sudden growth in "accidents" with them... I wonder why.
