@FlashMobOfOne @ahoneybun Mint is built on an Ubuntu LTS, and, so, won't have current kernels, etc. Adding those from "foreign" sources stands a good chance of playing havoc with an installation. If you need cutting-edge #Linux for games, a rolling release distribution is more likely to keep up than a distribution that doesn't intend to keep up.

@Corb_The_Lesser @FlashMobOfOne @ahoneybun Fedora is doing good job at having fresh packages with stable updates. Most of the time user don't need the most latest package/-s possible, so it's good enough I think.
