Good news is I have shingles not psoriasis. The bad news is shingles hurts like you've been beaten up and the prescription painkillers are at the pharmacy that shuts early. Another sleepless night. Shingles are often to do with being run down and stressed, and I link that to work and UCU equally

@CitizenWald we do have them for >70yo I think. Do you have them? All good today - I took an unprecedented cocktail of cocodamol, paracetamol and ibuprofen, my other half - who has a bad immune system - went on the guest bed, I constructed something with pillows to support the worst affected limb and had a great night's sleep

@CitizenWald interesting. It's fairly widespread here - everyone knows somebody who's had it. I didn't even know there was a vaccine until I already had it. Hardly anyone gets it more than once thankfully

@CitizenWald still mysterious, since what you replied to was my post on Chris Packham's response to a member of the public complaining about kelp on Weymouth beach. He said kelp was magnificent and we shouldn't complain but should go and get familiar with the stuff. I can stretch to go to an English beach and you will find yourself in rotting seaweed... but I think you may be in a different conv.
