@grammargirl I suspect that 75 doctor appointments in the US would total, maybe 2.5 hours of actual "face time" with a doctor.I miss the local family GP. These medical "factories" here are pretty bad. It's assembly line medicine.

@stux After going through the mess of Win8 and Win10 I've yet to read a solid reason to upgrade to Win11 other than a TPM requirement, and even that's not well explained.I use only two OS specific apps. I use ChromeOS and web "apps" most of my day. I do a lot with my Android phone. What makes Win11 special?

@vsp "Palatial" - good word for Mint. I just installed #linuxmint on an old desktop after seeing a clean and cluttered Win10 reinstall. All I needed was a browser and #darktable on that computer. These days so much is browser based the OS hardly matters. I'm done with Windows and MacOS.

@stux It's near impossible to go to a US #hospital with as lawyer and an accountant by your side 24/7. I was charged 400.00 a day, for 4 days, for "hospitality". Ridiculous.

@grammargirl Considering my age (hint: my baby pictures were cave paintings) and health I just got a Pfizer booster. I didn't even feel the shot, and 2 hours later, my arm isn't any achier than it usually is. I felt a little "icky" for about an hour, but I'm over it.I live in a small town, and COVID is popping up here.

@ChrisWere I changed over to Linux Mint Debian Edition last night - a clean install. A little fussiness on the first boot, but that could be my computer. After that it was just reloading the few graphics apps I use. Overall, an excellent Mint experience. It should be the default.Bravo #LinuxMintDebianEdition #LinuxMint
