@killyourfm @thunderbird I could imagine that this problem becomes worse if more people make the switch. On the other hand i don't think it will become as bad as on twitter because of instance owners doing a good job of moderating sources of bad behaviour.If they don't, their instance might be completely blocked. Algorithms don't favour engaging, emotional stuff.

@kuketzblogEs wäre mal an der Zeit mit der Interoperabilitäts Klausel der EU die Grundlagen für einen Opensource Client zu legen. Das würde endlich Kontrolle über die zu übermiittelnden Daten wie einzelne Adressbuch Kontakte ermöglichen.Hat sich Meta schon geäußert wie die die Bestimmungen umsetzen wollen?

@csb you should do the same with podcasts.How many support a certain feature, which way to implement they choose (especially interesting for chapters) and the Podcadts that cover close to or all defined features.Probably won't fit in a toot though

@craftyguyI hope with USB4 we can do the same to the various plugs and sockets and cables that are used to transmit audio and video signals between screens and devices.I'd love to get rid of the various adapters I have lying around and carry with me

@kuketzblogIch bin Codeweavers, Valve und vielen fleißigen Menschen dankbar dass die Spiele Seite unter Linux immer besser funktioniert.Bis wir jedoch dieses M365 Monster mit MS Teams Vernetzung und Datenablage schön in Opensource nachgebaut haben wird es noch dauern.Da fehlt einfach die Verbindung zwischen den Alternativen für einzelne Aspekte.Es is aber nicht nur MS. Auch Atlassian und Adobe wollen einem die Datenhoheit entziehen.
