@foone Run Swiftshader on a Xeon or EPYC and you can get a feel for how well it'd work, probably. It'd be right to an order of magnitude.

@foone I think 16kbit MP2 compression is what you are looking for.

@oysta @Viss This reminds me of a feature in Google code review where an LLM could write suggested fixes for CL notes. Sometimes it would put in references like "TODO(b/183648473):" with a link to a nonsense bug ID, or "TODO(bobsmith@):" with a plausible email address. It learns patterns and reproduces them, whether or not those patterns are useful or meaningful.

@futurebird I can only reproduce this by searching for "Slides." Searching for "Google Slides" does not show flip flops in the knowledge panel anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if they fixed this as soon as it appeared on social media. Google does quickly respond when bad queries start to become public knowledge.

@foone Some parts of Blizzard were still using MFC back in 2018, and I have every reason to believe they're still using it today. Sometimes live-service games run for 20 years, and if it ain't broke you don't fix it.

@futurebird I feel like "are they actually attracted to _this_?" is a kind of universal feeling though. I would've thought that extended past gender. We all know our own flaws too well.

@futurebird C: I have every cable. This is a natural condition as who throws away perfectly good cables? What if you need them later?

@futurebird @lnlyisol The challenge is that 99% of users here really DID intend to type "cute art stickers." Autocorrect has to walk a tightrope here. At least the option for "I did mean ANT" is a single click!

@futurebird Faked in what way? It's an image file so you could technically have any image in there. But the intent of RAW files is that they capture what the camera sensor sees with as little postprocessing as possible. This means you have to manually do things like fix the white balance, but if you want minimal postprocessing, that's what you get.

@futurebird @veronica @ptmesis @lienrag If I were at home I think this is something I could try in an HTML canvas trivially. Just plot a point and rotate in a loop
